At Vineengineers, it is our conviction that through deep, meaningful and long-term commitment, we - who are blessed with capabilities can drive real, positive change for the communities we are working with.

CSR isn't a particular programme, it's what we do every day, maximising positive impact and minimising negative impact.

Environment and Ecology

We at Vineengineers carry out a Plantation Drive in and around our Factory premises every World Environment Day to promote Conservation of environment and spread environmental awareness. Through our small efforts, we undertake plantation activities on every World Environment Day and invite officers of MIDC, DIC, Local Police and others to participate in this noble activity.

We are committed to contain the environmental pollution to the least possible. We are always striving to reduce and minimize the environmental footprint of our operations and to keep our facilities a safe space for all our workers and employees. A few steps in this direction are investing in a State-of-the-Art Shot & Grit Blasting Chamber and a Painting Booth facility to prevent any health hazards for our workers.

Education

Under the leadership of our Chairman Mr. Pradeep Khandelwal, we are running a Skill Development & Training Centre at our premises for the purpose of imparting practical training to local youth. The training Centre is Managed by Butibori Manufacturers’ Association in partnership with Calderys India Ltd.

The Skill Development & Training Centre has been a dream of Mr. Khandelwal for several years and was finally started in the year 2020 with an objective to train and prepare youngsters in the specific skills of Metal Welding and Refractory Bricks and Lining Applications. Through this initiative, we aim to arm local youngsters around Butibori with practical training making them suitable for industry jobs thereby supporting them with improved livelihood opportunities and growth in their household income. So far 40 people have benefitted from this training facility.

Similarly, we had contributed in development of a M Khandelwal Memorial Indo-Canada BMA Center of Excellence for imparting classroom training to local youth in classrooms equipped with modern internet learning and video conferencing infrastructure.

We make regular contributions to CAFÉ – Child Adoption for Education, a program run by Helplink Charitable Trust for the purpose of patronizing children’s education every academic year by contribution towards a School Kit consisting of basic schooling items including uniform, shoes, books and other stationery. Mr. Khandelwal is an Executive Committee Member for CAFÉ.

COVID 19

We participated in food sponsorship and distribution activities through Butibori Manufacturers’ Association. Our Chairman Mr. Khandelwal had initiated a Vaccination Drive under his presidentship under BMA in which workers – both casual and permanent, in factories in Butibori were encouraged to get vaccinated free of costs and were given gifts as a token of appreciation for getting vaccinated. More than 1500 locals took benefit of this vaccination drive.
